The Beatles were formed in 1960, and would become a popular band of the '60s. They gained a 48-night residency in Hamburg, Germany. George Harrison, who was seventeen at the time, lied about his age so that he could stay in Germany.

Tomorrow was originally called The In Crowd. Michelangelo Antonioni originally wanted to feature the band in his 1966 film Blowup. He later decided to use The Yardbirds. In 1967, they appeared in the Swingin' London film Smashing Time as The Snarks. Since John "Junior" Wood was ill during the filming of the movie, he was replaced by a clothes dealer named John Pearce. Tomorrow played at a handfull of venues, all of which were in London except where noted. This list was compiled from information on Steven Sullivan's Yes Gigs 1966-1980.

In 1966, John Painter was replaced by Peter Banks. John's guitar was given to Peter. Martyn Adelman was also replaced by Icelandic drummer Gunnar Jokull Hakonarson. There was one show where the band performed "Flowerman" and dressed like gangsters with colors of flowers. Peter Banks was a yellow buttercup. Most of their gigs took place at the Marquee Club. These dates were compiled from Steven Sullivan's Yes Gigs 1966-1980.

The Downbeats
In 1962, Alan White joined a local band called The Downbeats at the age of 13. The band covered songs by The Beatles, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, and The Supremes. They would later change their name to The Bluechips and disband in October 1965.
