The Syndicats were a band formed in 1963. From 1964 to 1965, they recorded singles produced by Joe Meek. Joe Meek would later murder his wife and commit suicide.

In 1965, Steve Howe was replaced by Ray Fenwick. Paul Holms also replaced John Truelove and appeared on the last single, "On The Horizon".
